The collimation bolts for the guide scope.

The collimation bolts were assembled with 3" long stainless steel 1/4" eye bolts. At the base of each collimation bolt is a T-nut with a self adhesive felt pad attached. There is another 1/4" nut above it to lock the T-nut and pad into place. There are 3 collimation bolts in each ring and they are mounted to the wooden rings with a 1/4" T-nut screwed to the inside of the wooden rings. Near the eye of the bolt on the outside of the ring is a wing nut with a brass washer that can be used to lock the bolt into place once the guide scope is aligned with the main scope.
